The variety act, Something Ridiculous, is a SLO Downtown Thursday night Farmers’ Market favorite. The juggling unicycle duo, Mark Wilder and Jon Nowaczyk, are crowd pleasers. Their unique performance and “A” typical personalities attract everyone from small children to seniors. They’re a great addition to the SLO Downtown Thursday night Farmers’ Market.

The Pismo Beach Chamber has had the pleasure to work with “Something Ridiculous” for over 2 years. I can say without reservation that they always draw a crowd and the crowd is always smiling!

Something Ridiculous” brings interactive fun for all ages to our music festival. They not only give a great juggling show they also take time to teach folks how to juggle. They draw a big crowd which can easily be found if you follow the sound of laughter!
— Shevon Sullivan, Children's Coordinator, Live Oak Music Festival
Something Ridiculous was a high energy show that is interactive and hilarious. They have that unique ability to be genuinely funny to children and adults without resorting to “inappropriate” humor. They never stop moving – juggling, unicycling, and performing feats that are truly amazing – even inspiring kids to ask for juggling books after the show! They build rapport with the audience by having a constant witty banter between the two of them and encourage audience participation. Our audiences range in age from 2-10 and they definitely hold everyone’s attention. I have even had Mark work with teens doing a juggling workshop (ages 12 and up) and he was great with that age group as well. They are very easy to work with, always on time (if not early) and have reasonable fees.
I highly recommend them and plan on having them back this summer if not sooner!
— Kris Bell, Children’s Librarian, Paso Robles City Library
Something Ridiculous is high energy fun! These athletic, talented, and comedic performers enthrall audiences of all ages. My K-6 students and Staff loved them...can’t wait to have them back!

We booked Something Ridiculous for our staff holiday party and they put on a show that was ridiculously awesome. Our party was a “vintage carnival” theme, so their show fit perfectly with our carnival games, food, decoration, lighting, and music—but Mark and VonJon were definitely the highlight of the night. Not only did they put on an amazing show during dinner, but they stayed the whole night and gave impromptu “roaming” performances. They interacted with the guests and got folks onto the dance floor—they just upped the “fun” factor of the evening.
When I booked Something Ridiculous, I knew that they were jugglers and that there would be juggling in their routine, but I had no idea how daring, acrobatic, and funny they are as performers. I was truly impressed. When we got the photos back from our staff party, you can see the faces of people watching Mark and VonJon—some people are smiling really big, and others (like me) are wide-eyed with their hands covering their mouths in amazement. Mark and VonJon are super professional and are amazing performers—I highly recommend booking them to perform at your corporate event or party, or school, or wherever—you won’t be disappointed!

Thank you so much for your show this afternoon. I know our kids will be talking about it for days! You both are great performers with the perfect comedy for school-age children. I hope we can plan more shows in the future.

I wanted to write and thank you for your participation in Family Care Network’s holiday open house celebration last year! After going through the notes from last December, it quickly became clear to me that your performance was the favorite of the evening and we are so grateful you were able to contribute your time to add a little holiday cheer and entertainment to the lives of the foster and high-needs children served by Family Care Network.
